Retiring

Alright guys and gals, I'm just going to make this kinda short. I am retiring from quake3 mainly because I spend way too much time on it. It's something I feel I need to do everyday, whether it be browsing forums or playing or going on xfire.. it's basically everyday. I spend around 2hrs/day on it whether it be on forums/xfire/gaming and I am just gonna retire and be a normal d00d again. Was a lot of fun, not gonna lie. I joined some good clans like o2o, ue, te.. and I've had some fun experiences in vm and lod. When I first started playing my goal was to be in -oNu-. That was my #1 goal. I saw them playing in that oNu2 server a few years ago and they were always the best. Rayden, amok, skap, bulma, godl1ke, halo.. many others. Although I didn't reach my goal, I did a lot more things than I thought possible. I made alot of friends, actually met someone based off quake, owned some of my schoolfriends, and just had a good time. Anyways, I'm out. I'll be on xfire for a few more hours and then I'm just going to delete it. Pz lovies.

But anyways, gl asp. You've always been a great quake friend.
It's too bad that you have to leave, but eventually we all have to anyway.
I'm gonna miss you man, you taught me a lot of things and we had fun too.

hey aspirinator. Although most people think its sad your goin... i'm happy for ya lol. theres more to life than q3. You can still have a 'normal' life and pop on forums/xfire to say g'day every now and again. hope you can restrain yourself so we will get to talk every now and again rather then just goin cold turkey. <3 sparky

thanks guys, appreciate everything you've said.

i wanna say 1 thing tho.. all of you should quit =p. im havin alot more fun that i thot i would and i dont feel dependent on q3 anymore.. it's nice. also have so much more time to do whatever.. i'm keepin up on homework better and helpin around the house more.. just a better way of life.

its called managing ur time and not being completly taken over by quake, u don't hav to go to either extreme to have fun.
