well i personally think sideshow is very suspicious. The only way i could see this being like an optical illusion is that the guy was jumping or rjing and side shot at the right time to catch the front of him. this would cause him to fly backwards instead of forward making it seem as if it was a ghost shot.

if u look at the .gif image in the first post, where he gets the frag, you cant see the enemy when he kills him. (ghost frag)

after viewing the demo, its suspicious, but nothing i havent seen come out of legit people before.
imo, sideshows just an elite, nothing more, nothing less.
